Rapid Reaction: Kansas beats Duke 94-83

This game was a lot closer than the score would suggest.  It was literally neck and neck, both teams exchanging leads back and forth for 90% of the game.  Then at the end the fouls starting racking up, Jabari Parker fouled out, and Kansas hit their free throws while the Blue Devils shot under 60%.  Absolutely awful performance at the line, they are free throws, key word being free.  It's an unguarded shot directly in front of the hoop.  You practice this sport every single day, just make the fucking shots.  Jabari lit it up in the first half but slowed down after adjustments were made by Coach Self and the Kansas defense.  Andrew Wiggins definitely didn't disappoint either scoring a quiet 20 while grabbing 10 boards.  At the end of the day it comes down to this.  These two players (Parker and Wiggins) are the two best college basketball players in the country.  Personally I give the edge to Parker with his extra size and overall game, but most would say Wiggins is the guy.  Kansas came out of a rough game against a very good Duke team on top, but its early. both teams will be playing their best ball at the end of the year.

PS - I feel like people seemed surprised by how good Jabari Parker played tonight.  Um, not exactly positive but I'm pretty sure you don't win four consecutive state titles in the most competitive basketball environment in the country by accident.  Like I said I'm not totally sure, could be wrong.
