The NBA has Started to Hand Out Red Cards to Obnoxious Fans
Is this really what the NBA is coming too? Are they honestly standing around here refereeing the stands handing out red cards to annoying fans like it's some sort of a soccer game or something? Just have a security guard to tell the loud dickhead to cool it and if he doesn't then boot his ass. How hard is that?
If you don't think having red/yellow cards in the games isn't on the horizon then you are dead wrong. That's exactly the next step, soccer style referee warnings. With the whole lawsuit that the NFL got and the minor uproar about all of the concussion issues, the NBA has embraced the role of being a softer sport. I seriously hate all of this bullshit European basketball (i.e. flopping). The other day my buddy told me it's just a part of the game and I have to say that's complete horseshit. This wasn't around in the 80s or the 90s, but in the last 8-10 years its exploded onto the scene. Obviously the Euro guys do it because they're used to sports being as physical as futbol but now you see big names like Lebron and Bosh falling over without even getting touched. Total bullshit. David Stern has marketed the shit out of the NBA and it's popular as all living fuck, but along the way the game became less about the game. Whether his term will forever keep this soft, flashy, gaudy-numbered era where stats reign supreme the status quo in the league has yet to be seen. And while I will always love the NBA and watch every game possible, in the future I see myself clutching to college basketball and March Madness more than I have in the past.
Bosh legit looks like he got knocked out by this huge blow to the dome. Oh wait, nobody even looked at him funny, he just fell.
The Heat as a team are experts. Literally accounts for like half their fouls drawn.
