(Source) - Ohio State coach Urban Meyer was "very disappointed" that Evan Spencer broke one of the Buckeyes' rules about speaking in public, so it'll be a while before anybody hears from the receiver again.
Spencer on Monday said the No. 3 Buckeyes would "wipe the field with both of them" -- referring to No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Florida State. Spencer later apologized on Twitter, stressing that he's clearly biased.
"He's certainly not the spokesman for our team. As a result, Evan won't talk to the media for a long, long time. You don't do that. It's not good sportsmanship, and that's not what we expect. ... Talk about your teammates, talk about the team and move on.""I'm very disappointed, I can't stand that," Meyer said during the Big Ten teleconference Tuesday. "Our players are taught [not to do that], and I know Evan well enough and I even talked to him briefly and he was kind of smiling the way he said it. But, no, I can't stand it."

Check out Urban Meyer. This guy straight up demands solid moral values and strong character each and every day. Oh wait except that's 100% not true at all because he basically just let Aaron Hernandez and Percy Harvin rip blunts on the booster club's dime all throughout college and then tried to cover up the drug tests. I mean I guess at the end of the day it all comes down to one thing for Urban: sportsmanship. Sure Percy Harvin beat the shit out of a coach during practice while he was at Florida but it's not like he was doing something as foul and unforgiveable as talking trash. Never that dude. Bruises heal, weed makes its way out of your system, but smack talk? That shit's forever man. You hear that Ohio State? Do whatever you please, get high, fuck bitches, pound on coaches and whoever the fuck else you want, but don't you fucking dare bring that kind of pompous, cocky attitude into Urban Meyer's locker room because homie don't play that shit. Can't stand it.
PS - Evan Spencer thinking the Buckeyes would "wipe the field" with Alabama and Florida State makes me giggle. I'm pretty sure at the end of the day either of these teams would wipe their taint with Ohio State.
